‘Artists as Muse’ series featured in REFLECTIONS exhibition in Brooklyn, NY
My ‘Artists as Muse’ series was included in the Reflections exhibition, curated by Tender and on view at Artmatr in Brooklyn, NY in October/November 2023. This exhibition featured new portrait series by 9 extraordinary artists at the forefront of art-making using AI: Ira Greenberg, Kirill Semenovich, Danielle King, Jenni Pasanen, Str4ngeThing, Francien Krieg, ClownVamp, Chelsea Jones, and Lily Illo. These artists have each established a practice of creating highly personal figurative works across their own unique interpretations of painterly styles. ‘Artists as Muse’ is a reflection on the interplay between creation and creator, reality and imagination, and an exploration of the role of women in art history.

My work “Tarsila x Henri” was featured this fall in the juried ‘Eyes on Art Town’ exhibition in Williamstown, MA. Images by local artists were featured on streetlight banners throughout the downtown area. My piece, which imagines a collaboration between artists Tarsila do Amaral and Henri Rousseau, and was made using AI technology, was the only digitally native work in the show.

“The Muses,” a generative AI project on Emprops.ai
"The Muses" is a generative AI art project that examines the portrayal of women in art history and fashion. This project reimagines the concept of the artist's muse by using source images and prompts from a diverse range of artists and designers, from the Renaissance era to now. Through this process, 500 unique portraits of imagined women are generated, each with her own distinct name.
